Niteworks™ was created by Herbalife with
1998 Nobel† Laureate Dr. Louis Ignarro
"NITRIC OXIDE IS ONE OF THE
MOST IMPORTANT HEALTH-PROMOTING
COMPOUNDS IN
YOUR BODY." – Dr. Louis Ignarro, Nobel Laureate in Medicine
Nitric Oxide is
produced in the
endothelium or lining
of the blood vessel.
Niteworks™
boosts Nitric
Oxide action in
three ways:
L-Arginine is used by
the body to produce
Nitric Oxide*
L-Citrulline is recycled
by the body into
L-Arginine*
Vitamins C and E
extend the activity
and life span of Nitric
Oxide in the body*
NOBEL† PRIZE
In 1998, Dr. Louis Ignarro was named a Nobel† Laureate,
joining an elite group of scientists including Albert Einstein,
Linus Pauling and Marie Curie, whose discoveries have had
a dramatic impact on humankind. Dr. Ignarro received the
Nobel† Prize for his groundbreaking research on the incredible
health benefits of Nitric Oxide. A tireless researcher, he has
continued to push the boundaries of science even further,
working with Herbalife to develop Niteworks™ for
cardiovascular health.*
ADDITIONAL LAURELS
Among his many distinctions, Dr. Ignarro was inducted into
the National Academy of Sciences in 1998 and into the
Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1999. He received the
Basic Research Prize of the American Heart Association for
his outstanding contributions to the advancement of
cardiovascular science. He is also the founder and president
of the NITRIC OXIDE Society, along with the founder and
editor-in-chief of the scientific journal NITRIC OXIDE
Biology and Chemistry. Through working with Herbalife to
develop Niteworks™, Dr. Ignarro has become a member of
Herbalife’s Scientific Advisory Board.
It is new book by Louis Ignarro about
the incredible health benefits of Nitric Oxide.
In easy-to-understand language, Dr. Ignarro
explains the exciting scientific discoveries that led to the eventual development of
Niteworks™ and why this amazing new product is based on
the concept of Cellular Nutrition®.
Winning the Nobel† Prize
In 1998, along with two other scientists, Dr. Louis Ignarro
received the Nobel† Prize in Physiology or Medicine for
"discoveries concerning nitric oxide as a signalling
molecule in the cardiovascular system." Nitric Oxide
regulates the function of other cells in a way that hadn’t been
understood before.
DIRECT FROM THE DOCTOR
Dr. Louis Ignarro answers a few of your
questions about Niteworks™ and Nitric Oxide.
Q: What is the easiest way to learn about Nitric Oxide (NO)?
A: Think about how difficult it is to blow up a
balloon on the first try. Now imagine how much
easier it would be if you stretched it out first
to make it more flexible. Like stretching a
balloon, Nitric Oxide makes arteries and veins
more flexible–supporting improved blood flow
and delivery of nutrients to your cells. NO
supports your long-term cardiovascular health.*
Q: Does Niteworks™ contain sugar?
I on sugar-restricted diets
are concerned.
A: Niteworks™ powder does not contain
sugar. It contains sucralose, which is a nonnutritive
sweetener derived from sugar, but
is safe for people who need to control their
sugar intake.
Q: When should I take Niteworks™?
A: I suggest that you take Niteworks™ before
you go to bed at night. It’s designed to be
consumed at night, when your body produces
the least amount of Nitric Oxide from exercise
and food. However, it is okay to take Niteworks™
in the morning, mixed with your juice, for
example. I do this myself and I find that it
gives me an extra lift during the day and more
overall energy.
